Installation & Setup

Download or insert the ADMS-2I CD – The software is also available for download from Yaesu’s website (support section) or authorized dealers.

Run the installer as administrator. The software is lightweight and installs quickly.

Connect the cable – Plug the CT-39A into the DATA port on the rear panel of the FT-8800R (not the MIC or EXT SP).

Turn off the radio before connecting, then power it on after the cable is secured.

Select the correct COM port in the ADMS-2I software (usually COM1–COM8). Use Windows Device Manager to identify your USB adapter’s port number.
