Amplitube 5 Presets | List !!top!!
Overview
AmpliTube 5 is IK Multimedia’s flagship amp-and-effects modelling suite for guitar and bass. It ships with hundreds of factory presets (covering clean, crunch, high-gain, ambient, bass, acoustic, signature artist tones and more) and provides direct access to ToneNET — a large, searchable community library where users and IK publish thousands more presets and TONEX tone models. Presets can include full signal-chain setups (stomps → amps → cabs → mics → rooms → rack FX → mixer/recorder) and are usable in the standalone app or as a plugin.
- Take “Twin Reverb Sparkle” → swap the LA-2A for a 1176 → instant Nile Rodgers rhythm.
- Take “Ola Englund The Haunt” → remove the overdrive → add a noise gate after the amp → tighter than the original.

There were bass presets that cut through the mix without stepping on the kick drum, like the aptly named "Pocket Rocket." amplitube 5 presets list

The Default Library: What You Get Out of the Box
When you first install AmpliTube 5 (including the free CS version), you are greeted with approximately 200 to 300 factory presets. These are not just generic "Clean 1" or "Lead 2" patches. IK Multimedia curated these to mimic famous songs, guitar heroes, and studio scenarios. He scrolled further, mesmerized
- "The Dumble" (Found in:
00 Factory Selects > Overdrive) – Costs $0 but sounds like a $150,000 amp. Huge dynamic range. - "Studio Clean w/ Room 101" – Uses the new VIR (Volumetric Impulse Response) technology. The most realistic "in the room" feel.
- "TS9 into Silverplate" – The go-to for John Petrucci style liquid leads.
- "Acoustic Sim" – Turns your electric guitar into a passable Martin acoustic using EQ & Body modeling.
Classic Rock: Foundational tones often feature Marshall-style cabinets and Fender-style amp models, such as the "Buckley" preset (aimed at a Jeff Buckley-esque tone).
