Manual updates are often more reliable than automated software: Go to the Dell Support Site. Enter your Service Tag or search for "XPS 13 9365." Under Drivers & Downloads, set the category to BIOS. Download the latest .exe file. Close all other apps and run the file as an Administrator.
If your 9365 is running without issues and you never connect it to Thunderbolt devices or unknown Wi-Fi networks, you can skip updates. However, updating to at least 1.28.0 closes a known Intel Management Engine vulnerability that allows local privilege escalation.
