ArcGIS 10.6 is a legacy, 32-bit desktop GIS application that was retired by Esri on January 1, 2024.

1. Log into My Esri
2. Go to My Organizations → Downloads → ArcGIS Desktop
3. Choose ArcGIS 10.6 (or 10.6.1 – the last 10.6.x release)
4. Download the .exe installer (~5–7 GB) and authorization file

• An ArcGIS Desktop license (Basic/Standard/Advanced) with active maintenance
• Access via Esri’s My Esri portal (login required)
• A student license through Esri’s Education Program or your university
