There is no official "paper" or research document published for the "HYC USB display driver."

  • Driver signing: If driver is unsigned, Windows 11 will block installation unless Secure Boot is disabled or test-signing enabled (not recommended).
  • Alternate installation: Device Manager → Update driver → Browse my computer → Let me pick → Have Disk → point to INF file.
  • Important: If your HYC monitor works as soon as you plug it into a USB-C port (without installing anything), it is using DisplayPort Alt Mode, not a USB display driver.
