Gmsh is an open source 3D finite element mesh generator with a built-in CAD engine and post-processor. Its design goal is to provide a fast, light and user-friendly meshing tool with parametric input and flexible visualization capabilities. Gmsh is built around four modules (geometry, mesh, solver and post-processing), which can be controlled with the graphical user interface, from the command line, using text files written in Gmsh's own scripting language (.geo files), or through the C++, C, Python, Julia and Fortran application programming interface.

See this general presentation for a high-level overview of Gmsh and the reference manual for the complete documentation, which includes the Gmsh tutorial. The source code repository contains the tutorial source files as well as many other examples.

Mame 078 Plus Romset May 2026

The MAME 0.78 Plus ROMset (commonly referred to as the MAME 2003-Plus set) is an evolved version of the classic 0.78 ROM collection. While the original 0.78 set represents the state of arcade emulation as of Christmas 2003, the "Plus" version is a curated collection that backports hundreds of fixes and new game drivers from more recent MAME versions (up to 0.188) while maintaining the high performance required for low-power hardware like the Raspberry Pi. Key Characteristics of the 0.78 Plus Set

Full Non-Merged Set: Every game file contains all the data it needs to run. This is the easiest to manage but takes up the most disk space (roughly 15–20 GB). mame 078 plus romset

  1. Extensive Game Library: MAME 078 Plus ROMset comes with a massive collection of ROMs, featuring over 2,000 classic arcade games from the 1970s to the 1990s. This includes iconic titles like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Street Fighter II, and many more.
  2. Improved Compatibility: This version of MAME boasts improved compatibility with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. It also supports multiple graphics and sound plugins, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
  3. Accurate Emulation: MAME 078 Plus ROMset is designed to accurately emulate the original arcade hardware, providing an authentic gaming experience. The emulator supports various CPU architectures, including Zilog Z80, Intel 8080, and Motorola 68000.
  4. User-Friendly Interface: The MAME interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for beginners. Users can easily browse through the game list, adjust settings, and configure controls to their liking.

Integrated Samples: Many games from this era require "samples" (audio files) to play sound effects. The Plus set is often bundled or mapped to ensure these work out of the box. Why Use This Specific Romset? The MAME 0
