5. Installation Procedure
Method 1: Standard Installation (Windows Legacy OS)
- Download the driver package (usually a
.zip or .exe file).
- If
.zip, extract the contents to a local folder.
- Run the
Setup.exe file.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select the communication port (usually COM1-COM4 for Serial, or USB001 for USB).
- Visit the NCR Website: Go to the official NCR website (www.ncr.com) and navigate to the "Support" or "Downloads" section.
- Select the Product: Choose "NCR 7197 POS Printer" from the product list.
- Select the Operating System: Choose the operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.) for which you want to download the driver.
- Download the Driver: Click on the driver file (usually a zip or exe file) to download it.
