Rear-panel connections
- RCA Inputs (L/R) — Connect to the head unit’s preamp outputs. Use matched quality RCA cables.
- RCA Outputs (L/R) — Connect to amplifier or next device in signal chain.
- Power connector — 12 V DC (use fused inline power per manufacturer recommendation), ground, and remote turn-on lead (connect remote to head unit switched 12V).

Setting the Clock
- Method A: Turn the unit off. Press and hold the Function (FUNC) or Audio button until the clock appears. Use the Volume Knob to adjust hours/minutes and the Arrow keys to move between them.
- Method B: Turn the unit off. Press and hold the Source (SRC) button until the clock flashes.
1. Quick Start
- Power and ground: connect the 12V ignition/switched power lead to a fused +12V source that turns off with the ignition; connect the ground to a clean chassis grounding point.
- Signal connections: route front/rear/center input RCA cables from the head unit outputs to the equalizer’s input RCAs; connect the equalizer’s output RCAs to the amplifier or head unit inputs as appropriate.
- Initial settings: set all EQ bands to flat (0 dB), set output level to a mid position, and set channel balance centered.
- Power on and do a brief sound check at low volume before driving.
