3. Operational Procedures
A. Manual Start Procedure
- Ensure the battery is connected and the DC supply breaker is on.
- Press the MAN button on the controller. The screen should indicate "MANUAL MODE."
- Press the START button. The engine will crank and start.
- Once the engine is running and parameters are stable (Voltage/Frequency), press the GEN BREAKER button (sometimes labeled "Close Gen") to supply power to the load.
- To stop: Press the GEN BREAKER button to open the breaker, allow the engine to cool down (idle), then press STOP.
- Limited advanced programming examples and libraries for complex control logic.
- Sparse guidance for integrating with third-party SCADA or modern IIoT platforms.
- Minimal troubleshooting depth for networking issues and electromagnetic interference.
- If the manual references firmware or software tools, versioning and update procedures may be brief—readers should confirm firmware/software compatibility.
B. Automatic (AMF) Operation
- Press the AUTO button.
- The controller will monitor the Mains (Utility) supply.
- If Mains fail (voltage drops below threshold), the controller initiates a start sequence after a delay.
- The generator starts, stabilizes, and the controller automatically transfers the load to the generator.
- When Mains return and stabilize, the controller transfers the load back to Mains and cools down the generator before stopping it.
