A. Manual Start Procedure

  1. Ensure the battery is connected and the DC supply breaker is on.
  2. Press the MAN button on the controller. The screen should indicate "MANUAL MODE."
  3. Press the START button. The engine will crank and start.
  4. Once the engine is running and parameters are stable (Voltage/Frequency), press the GEN BREAKER button (sometimes labeled "Close Gen") to supply power to the load.
  5. To stop: Press the GEN BREAKER button to open the breaker, allow the engine to cool down (idle), then press STOP.

B. Automatic (AMF) Operation

  1. Press the AUTO button.
  2. The controller will monitor the Mains (Utility) supply.
  3. If Mains fail (voltage drops below threshold), the controller initiates a start sequence after a delay.
  4. The generator starts, stabilizes, and the controller automatically transfers the load to the generator.
  5. When Mains return and stabilize, the controller transfers the load back to Mains and cools down the generator before stopping it.
