Silent Hunter 3 All Submarines 🔥

Silent Hunter 3 , the "story" of the submarines is the narrative of your career as a U-boat commander during World War II. You progress from the "Happy Time" of easy early-war hunting to the desperate "U-boat Peril" of 1943–1945. Players can start their career in various years (1939–1943), which dictates their starting boat and base. Playable U-Boat Classes

Playstyle: The Type II is affectionately called the “duck” or “canoe” by the community. It is not a happy boat for the Atlantic. You have no stern tube, meaning you must point your nose at every target. Its shallow depth rating makes escape difficult. However, in 1939–1940, when British ASW is weak, you can sneak into shallow harbors like Scapa Flow or Loch Ewe. silent hunter 3 all submarines

Part V: Common Mistakes When Choosing a Submarine

  1. Skipping the Type VII entirely – Jumping from Type II to Type IX is a death sentence. You won’t learn proper dive management or convoy approach techniques.
  2. Playing Type XXI in 1945 without snorkel – Your batteries last 14 hours at flank. After that, you surface into an Allied air patrol. Always take the snorkel upgrade first.
  3. Taking external torpedoes on Type IX – They reduce surface speed by 1.5 knots and increase dive time by 8 seconds. Only load external stores when you’ve exhausted internals.
  4. Using Type II beyond March 1940 – Allied destroyers in 1941 can hear you from 15 km away. Your 150m test depth is a coffin.
