Downloading and Installing SoMachine 4.1 ISO SoMachine 4.1 is a legacy automation software from Schneider Electric used for developing, configuring, and commissioning machines in a single environment. While it has been largely superseded by EcoStruxure Machine Expert, many engineers still require the original 4.1 ISO for maintaining older systems or specific hardware like the Modicon M241 and M251. Official Schneider Electric Portal: The most reliable way to get the software is through the official Schneider Electric Download Center. Note that Service Pack 2 (SP2) is typically the most recent stable release.

But beware: Some device-specific libraries may need manual conversion.

Reason: Schneider purged public anonymous access to V4.1 after releasing EcoStruxure Machine Expert.
Solution A: Contact your local Schneider Electric distributor or support. Provide them your machine's serial number (if you have a licensed copy). They can give you a private FTP link.
Solution B: Upgrade to EcoStruxure Machine Expert V1.2 or V2.0. It opens .project files from SoMachine V4.1 and is backwards compatible (with a migration tool).
