The supermod aims to unlock hidden features, improve usability, add multimedia codecs, and enhance customization without requiring hardware modifications. Version 9.1.3 is considered a mature, stable release in the supermod lineage.

Renault locked the system so you can't watch videos while parked (or while moving, which is illegal but sometimes desired for passengers). Supermod installs a file manager (Explorer) and a video player (MPlayer or VLC modified) that reads MP4, MKV, and AVI from USB drives.
