The sheer volume of text in the game was staggering. Unlike many RPGs that might have a set script, a dating sim has branching paths, conditional dialogue, and hidden events. Furthermore, the technical aspect of hacking a PSP game—inserting English characters into a game engine built for Japanese script (kanji and kana)—presented a nightmare for programmers. There is a partial English translation patch for the PC Engine (TurboGrafx-CD) version. It translates the UI and some dialogue but is not a complete script translation.
The PlayStation 1 version does not have a completed translation patch.
