The "Dragon Cry" Connection

Episode 12 cleverly integrates lore from the Dragon Cry movie (which is canon-adjacent). We see flashbacks of the dragons Igneel, Metalicana, and Grandeeney sending the Dragon Slayers through Eclipse. The dub voice actors for the dragons return, providing a nostalgic gut-punch for long-time fans.
