Go to product viewer dialog for this item. is a digital display temperature controller designed for high-precision management in industrial and commercial applications. It features a compact 72x72mm panel size and supports various input signals, including PT100 RTD and K or E type thermocouples. Core Technical Specifications Key performance metrics and electrical requirements for the Power Supply: Standard AC 220V/380V (±10%), 50/60Hz.

Quick-Reference Cheat Sheet

  • Boot to config: hold MODE on power-up.
  • Serial defaults: 115200 8-N-1.
  • Default I/O states: outputs off, inputs pulled-down.
  • Firmware update: serial bootloader → send SREC/HEX → verify checksum.
  • Reset to factory: hold MODE + RESET for 10 s.

Problem: Cannot change the setpoint.
Solution: LOC parameter is locked. Enter menu, set LOC=0. xmtd-2201 manual

3. Front Panel Operations

  • PV (Upper Display): Shows the current Process Value (actual temperature).
  • SV (Lower Display): Shows the Set Value (target temperature).
  • Keys:

    10. Maintenance

    • Clean panel with dry cloth; avoid solvents.
    • Periodically check output relay for welding.
    • Re-calibrate sensor input every 6–12 months if high accuracy required.

    4. How to Set the Temperature

    1. Normal Mode: The upper screen shows current temp, lower screen shows target temp.
    2. Change Target:
      • Cause: The heater element is burnt out, or the wiring between the controller and heater is broken.
      • Solution: Use a multimeter to check continuity on the heater and the output voltage.
      • Terminals: Often labeled "High" and "Low" or numbered 5 and 6.
      • Connection: These terminals act as a switch. When the temperature drops below the setpoint, the relay closes, completing the circuit for your heater.
      • Note: If driving a large heater, do not wire the heater directly to the controller if it exceeds the relay's amp rating (usually 3A). Instead, wire the controller to a solid-state relay (SSR) or a contactor, and let the contactor handle the heater.
